Amelia Cornick is a Canadian actor based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Amelia most recently appeared in Sullivan's Crossing's third season (on the CW/CTV/Crave). 
She has recently played a series regular (Tammy) in a comedy series set to air on the Trailer Park Boys' streaming platform SwearNet; principal role (Elizabeth) in the upcoming second season of Bell TV show Halifax Homicide, a previous number one show on their network Canada-wide; as well as series regular (Luna) in Golden Roc Media's new vertical digital series 'Forbidden Bonds' on DramaWave, which maintained number one on the charts worldwide for weeks upon release.
In past years Amelia has had lead roles in Ron Foley MacDonald's feature films 'Love and Doom' (Sha) and 'Sleepwatching' (Zoe)-- which aired on Eastlink TV in fall 2022. As well on Eastlink TV, Amelia had the honor of appearing as a guest host on paranormal investigation show 'Haunted' for multiple seasons. She has otherwise played recurring characters on various Bell TV and Eastlink shows. 
Amelia has also been a part of eighteen various short films, including Tori Flemming’s ‘Keeper’ which took home Screen Nova Scotia’s Best Shortfilm of the Year in 2023. 
Originally from Labrador, Amelia performed in a number of local theatre productions and attended the Royal Conservatory Music Speech Arts and Drama Youth Program. After moving to Nova Scotia to study at King's-Edgehill School with a music & theatrical arts scholarship, she furthered her training in acting with various coaches, workshops, classes; and studied acting at Dalhousie's Fountain School of Performing Arts (earning a 4.3 GPA in both of her acting courses); alongside continuing to act and perform in local theatre productions, before choosing to pursue a career in film and television in 2020.
Before dedicating herself to her acting craft, Amelia was a drill instructor with the RCACC. During her cadet years she won public speaking awards; performed in the Montreal International Tattoo with her drill team; earned her service medal; and was awarded the 2019 drill trophy and Lord Strathcona Medal, the highest award that can be bestowed in the program.
